Embracing the Discomfort

If you always stay in your comfort zone and avoid changes where you might fail and be uncomfortable, then there won't be any chance for you to grow as an individual.  I am no stranger to discomfort. And I think the more challenging thing I do,  the better I am dealing with discomfort. From doing sky diving, finding the thrill in high adrenaline adventure, visiting some town that I was unfamiliar with, and most uncomfortable of all, quitting my job with no plan whatsoever. And through all of those, I have become more and more comfortable with being uncomfortable, and all of that makes me realize the growth within me and how much that I lack. There are so many things that I need to learn more about. Well, not so many people are keen on being discomfort because the comfort zone give us a sense of security, and when we are deep enough moving our ass will be damn hard. But there are so many situations where we must be uncomfortable knowing our own limits. Pushing ourselves to the l...

Manifestation, What it is and How?

Have you ever heard what is manifestation? Have you done it? Do you know how to do it?  So what is manifestation??? Manifestation is a self-help exercise that refers to focusing your thoughts on the desired outcome, through practices of mindfulness, visualization, and meditation into reality. Essentially, it is about creating the idea of putting all the energy and intention into making that vision a reality by aligning your thoughts, emotions, and action.  Well, you might say that it is about turning your dreams into reality, but still it does require you to take proactive steps toward whatever it is you desire. Although manifestation can be easy but for some, it is a lot harder. And when you try to Manifesting, you should not be thought of it as a magic formula. People use their qualities of intelligence, determination, persistence, and self-discipline for success, and like those old people said "success comes only after you work hard". And now come to the question, How to d...

Anxiety attack?? What should you do next...

Imagine you’re trapped inside a teeny-tiny space. Your arm and leg are useless, and your thoughts are racing. Your heart is beating out of place and your skin and bones are crushed. Everything is hardwired, and the worst thing is that you don't know what to do. Like you are a prisoner of your mind and body. Have you ever felt it? Well I did, it wasn't nice and scary to hell. Anxiety affects different people in different ways. for some people, it fills the mind with excessive and useless thoughts. And because it happened several times, I come to find out how to deal with it. First, you have to come to understand what is anxiety attacks. According to the mayo clinic,   It's an episode of intense fear or panic. Setting Boundaries in Social Media for better YOU!

Did you know, that there are 4.70 billion social media users around the world in July 2022,  it's almost 60% of the total global population. And social media user numbers have continued growth since then. So the question now??? How much time do you spend on social media each day? Minutes, hours? Do you even bother counting?
Jokes on me, I realized that I also spent a quarter of my day doing what I called " Doom Scrolling", from  anxious over a heated political exchange, what's happening nowadays?, or feeling like drowning my FOMO in a pint of ice cream or cake, then I will be in good company. The time that we spend so much scrolling on social media can have a profound effect on our wellness—both mental and physical.  In fact,  research  has shown that time on social media can cause depression, anxiety, and any psychological distress. Other studies, meanwhile, have found that our experience on social networks could   contribute to weight gain ,   incr...

The Importance of SELF-IMPROVEMENT vs AGE???

Ever since we were young, we were told to excel in everything if I may say. Focus on getting good grades and acing all the exams. And because all of it is directed more toward academics, we tend to forget the aspect of self-improvement and personal development that play an equally important role in people's lives.   It often goes unnoticed. We are either conveniently brushing our shortcomings under the carpet, refusing to face them, or just happy being ignorant. And the truth is that you can't run away from yourself. The farther you run, the deeper grave you were digging for yourself. Because all the unresolved emotions will come up and leave you overwhelmed.  So, what should you do? Start with consciously becoming more aware of what you need, and what your feelings were try to tell you. observing your thoughts, emotions, and responses makes it all an integral part of your life. Just the way learning should never stop, the same applies to self-improvement. The idea should focu...

Are We Still Allowed To Dream?

Are we still allowed to dream? that question is keep popping in my head nowadays.  I mean that you might be asking yourself how you can entertain the idea of thinking about yourself and what you want in the future when everything is so weird and uncertain, both in your personal life and the world. Well, kept i challenging myself by asking what I really dream of in this part of my life. Especially at a time like this. Don't get wrong, I am utterly in the stage I really accept what happens in life. But adulting also teaches us to worry more, worry about unnecessary that could be, or perhaps will happen in the future. cause worry is what I called selfishness in disguise, and when is too often, people give in to worry without realizing how destructive it is. Because we are more concerned with our selfish desires are not being fulfilled. And the more you worry the more complicated your life becomes. Perhaps an occasional Freak out. All Fine. But too many IT IS NOT FINE. Remember you...
