Curiosity is the basic form of all true learning, so it quite makes sense that you need it. It drives you to overcome all the challenging times and is defined as a strong desire to know something. it is like a key driver that makes us if I may say hungry for a piece of new information and experience, As to explore for all new possibilities. And I have been trying to pathing it as my way of self-growth.
whilst mindfulness helps us to pause and notice what stories we try to tell about ourselves, curiosity helps us to figure out why we are telling those stories. It helps us to open up all those possibilities around us, find a better option, and to gain a new way of perspective on all the magic and mystery of our existence.
I have been throwing a lot of questions to myself, and now I ask you to ask more questions that lead you to personal inquiry. Explore different ways of viewing the stories that you have created in your head. Practice using a more expansive viewpoint as you look at yourself. That is a start to explore alternatives, new ideas, a different way of holding things, and new sets of lenses to view experiences thoroughly.
Curiosity helps to break us to move on to the automotive patterns that unconsciously we built within ourselves. With it, we naturally invite a different way of showing up as our own person.
I see the phrase "GET CURIOS" as transformative, with too much self-criticism that I gave to myself. And when I think about embracing curiosity as a mindset, I ask myself some questions :
- Ok, how else can I interpret this?
- What else might go on here? is there anything that I might be missing?
- What might I have overlooked?
- Am I experienced in dealing with this? Is there any way to dig it deeper?
- I wonder What happened differently?
- What else might be possible?
- etc.
