In a quiet little world lived a boy named Keenan.
Keenan didn’t speak the way most people did. Words didn’t come out the way others expected. Some people thought that meant he had nothing to say.
But they were wrong.
Keenan spoke in different ways.
When the wind moved the trees, Keenan watched every leaf carefully, as if they were telling him a story. When sunlight touched the floor, he followed the light like it was a quiet little adventure only he could see.
Keenan noticed things that others missed.
While many people filled the world with noise, Keenan filled it with presence.
He showed love by sitting close beside the people he trusted.
He showed joy through the sparkle in his eyes.
He showed comfort in the calm way he held someone’s hand.
Most people listened with their ears.
But the people who truly understood Keenan listened with their hearts.
One evening, I sat beside Keenan and looked up at the sky full of stars.
Softly, I asked him,
“Keenan, what do you see up there?”
Keenan didn’t answer with words.
He simply looked at the sky and smiled.
And somehow, that smile felt like a whole conversation.
In that moment, I realized something beautiful.
The world often tries to teach children like Keenan how to be like everyone else.
But maybe the world should also learn how to see like Keenan.
To notice the quiet.
To feel things more deeply.
To understand that love does not always need words.
Because some people speak in sentences.
But some very special souls, like Keenan, speak in stars.
And if we are patient enough to look up and listen with our hearts, we will realize…
they have been telling us beautiful things all along.
Love,
Chits 💙
