Curiosity is a key of Personal Growth.

Curiosity is the basic form of all true learning, so it quite makes sense that you need it. It drives you to overcome all the challenging times and is defined as a strong desire to know something. it is like a key driver that makes us if I may say hungry for a piece of new information and experience, As to explore for all new possibilities.  And I have been trying to pathing it as my way of self-growth.  whilst mindfulness helps us to pause and notice what stories we try to tell about ourselves, curiosity helps us to figure out why we are telling those stories.  It helps us to open up all those possibilities around us, find a better option, and to gain a new way of perspective on all the magic and mystery of our existence. I have been throwing a lot of questions to myself, and now I ask you to ask more questions that lead you to personal inquiry. Explore different ways of viewing the stories that you have created in your head. Practice using a more expansive viewpoint as ...

Self sabotage : Why you're holding yourself back

“ Why do I keep doing this?” " Everyone thinks you're an idiot" " I don't think this will work out for me?" " I am not good enough for that!" “ How does this keep happening to me?” You might ask yourself these questions when you feel trapped. And these Inner critic patterns create problems in your life and keep you from achieving your goals and dreams. Even though you try to make changes and disrupt these patterns, somehow you end up, back in the same place, again and again. If this sounds familiar, well this is you who try to sabotage yourself. I guess you have heard so many times about it. Self-sabotage refers to behaviors or thought patterns that hold you back and prevent you from doing what you want to do. It undermines your success despite your wishes, dream, and value.  Sometimes we self-sabotage to escape all the uncomfortable feelings around us. Perhaps we don't know how to manage and process all the difficult thoughts and feelings, so...

Learning the beauty of SLOW LIVING

For the first time in my life,  I’d taken the time to create –  slowly .  Not rush my way through the process, but slow pacing myself. This is big because I’m programmed for the opposite… Fast-paced. Always on. Working against the clock. YADA YADA YADA... Looking back, that’s how I spent a big part of (probably most) of my adult life. Especially when work and personal life are concerned. Stressed-out. Always in a hurry. Feeling as if the clock was always working against me. There was never a moment to rest, let alone gather my thoughts. Since 2019 I’ve been on a journey back to sanity. It took me to so many places. Mindfulness. Meditation practice. Yoga. Self-love. Self-care. Daily journaling. Reading – lots of reading. Minimalism. Essentialism. All those other -isms I can’t think of right now. They’ve all been important pieces of the puzzle, for many different reasons. They also all have  one thing in common: they’ve taught me to SLOW DOWN.  So I c...

Forgiveness leads you to the path of healing and peace.

Who hasn't been hurt by the actions or words of another? Perhaps a constant criticism when you growing up, being let down by family or your loved one, or maybe you have a traumatic experience that somehow scars deep within you. Holding on to anger and resentment can be very painful, traumatic, and potentially harmful.  As Stephen Hayes quoted," Unforgiveness is like being on a giant hook. Next to you on the hook is the person who has hurt you. The hook is extremely painful. Whenever you go, so does the hook and so does the offender. The only way you can get off the hook is if you allow the offender off first. The cost of not allowing the offender off the hook, is perhaps, a lifetime of Unhappiness." Studies and research have shown that forgiving others produces strong psychological benefits for our mental health. Outcomes of it will be reducing anxiety, depression, and any major mental disorder, as well as increasing our physical well be being. Before we get deeper...  FO...

Shavasana, The yoga pose that change my life

Hello, Happy September! I seriously can't believe how fast time is flying by. Life gets busier, a modern life that seems more indisputable. It's overwhelming and stressful for sure.  And one thing for me that makes a great impact when dealing with all those pressure when I have yoga in my daily life. I have practiced yoga for many years now, but I can still remember my early days when I would itch to get off my mat during Shavasana. The stillness, That I am not being friends with in the beginning. I  rather have much chaturanga in my practice rather than lie there motionless. There were many times that I would set my mat next door so I can sneak off from class real quick as soon as it was over.  I'll admit that time the stillness can still be very difficult for me. Not just in the mat, but within the overall frame of my life. Then I came to read some yoga articles. That there is one term in yoga practice, Svadhyaya which is the term for the practice that studying Oneself....
